Biographic information about the Serbian art theorist and curator Miško Šuvaković

Miško Šuvaković teaches Aesthetics and Theory of Art at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and Theory of Art and Theory of Culture for the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies Programme at the University of Art Belgrade. His theoretical work has been focused on the study of theories of contemporary art, culture and education. His artistic and theoretical research started in the tradition of Wittgenstein's philosophy of language in the early 1970s. Later he explored discursive practices of the neo-avantgarde and contemporary visual art, contemporary performing arts and curatorial-political practice. He is interested in self-organised artistic and theoretical education.
