Visual Identity

posted by: Barbara Steiner

Oliver Klimpel and Aurelia Markwalder were invited to develop graphic scenarios for the visual communication of the project.

Oliver Klimpel and Aurelia Markwalder developed graphic scenarios for the visual communication of the project. They took three graphic languages: Art Nouveau around 1900, post-punk subcultures of the 1980s, and the visionary business world of the 1990s. Klimpel/Markwalder re-framed them with regard to their potential for reform in their day and their banalisation and commercialisation in the present, and then tested them for their possible use in Europe (to the power of) n.
